Is Ignatian Spirituality for you?

Several Canberra people have shown interest in forming an Ignatian Spirituality Group where people of faith, who desire to grow in their relationship with God and others, come together fortnightly in a home to pray together, share life experiences in the light of faith and support each other in reaching out to serve others. If this type of group appeals to you, please contact Felicity Flynn for more information.

An Ignatian Spirituality Group
could be an Introduction to
Christian Life Community

In brief: Christian Life Community (CLC) is a lay international Catholic organisation – a world community lived out in small local communities. There is a fortnightly meeting in a home where we pray together, usually from Scripture, followed by sharing experiences from daily life. We help each other to discern one’s own personal mission (or a communal mission) and continue to support each another as we reach out to others. This is the main purpose of CLC – reaching out to others. One is encouraged to pray regularly (daily) and so recognise that Jesus is with us as we work with him for the coming of the Kingdom. To ‘Find God in All Things’ St Ignatius gave us a method of prayer called the Awareness Examen that members are encouraged to do each day. Members are also encouraged to make an annual short Retreat.
