Welcome to CLC South Australia
There are currently 11 groups operating, with 69 members. Most operate in the eastern suburbs with one in Fulham, two in the hills, and one in the Clare valley.
Our members are active in their daily life mission which is an authenticity of being, as a result of an awareness of God in all things. Some of the large number of activities, outside our family and paid work, with which our members are involved are: Spirituality in the pub, which takes spiritual conversation into the community once a month, Liturgies preparation and presentation, hospital chaplaincy and visiting the sick, Social Justice Action groups, support for and participation in Retreat in Daily life, support for alienated families and minority groups etc.
Members meet every fortnight for prayer and sharing about the presence and action of God in their lives. They use the Ignatian tools of spirituality, such as the daily awareness examen, retreats, discernment, the spiritual exercises which are a way of preparing and disposing the soul to finding the will of God in our life.
The South Australian Executive Council (ExCoSA) plans activities for the members such as retreats, guide training, and gatherings around a theme etc. ExCoSA communicates closely with the NExCo, which has the responsibility for the national community and with the ExCos of the other states.
When you contact us, we will be most happy to explain CLC and share our experiences with you.
