As we close the chapter on 2025, we pause — in true Ignatian spirit — to look back with gratitude, to notice where God has been at work among us, and to carry those graces forward into the new year. This past year has been filled with moments of consolation, growth, and shared mission, and we thank God for guiding our CLC community every step of the way.

Moments of Grace in 2025

A Year of Discernment and Consolation

Ignatian spirituality teaches us to pay attention to the movements of the Spirit — the moments that brought us life, hope, and unity. Looking back, we see God’s work in and through us, the courage we found, the challenges we overcame, and the love we shared. These consolations remind us that God has been — and continues to be — deeply present in our story.

A Prayer of Gratitude

We give thanks for each member of our community — for your faith, your presence, and the unique gifts you bring. In a special way, we express our deep gratitude for our Chairman, Kevin Wringe whose phenomenal leadership and steady guidance have shaped our journey over the years. His exceptional interpersonal skills, focusing on team empowerment and continuous growth of members, and the manner in which he had navigated challenges effectively.  Kevin’s dedication, commitment, wisdom, and generous service have been a true blessing to us all. As we honour his leadership and service, we hold close the words of St Paul: “I thank my God every time I remember you.” (Philippians 1:3) May the Lord who called him to this mission now bless him in the next chapter with renewed joy, peace, and purpose.

Theme of the day: Called by Name. “God calls us through our desires for good things, through our enthusiasms, our hurts and healings. Wherever we are giving and receiving life and love is where God is calling.” (The New Spirituality Exercise in the Spirit of Pierre Teilhard de Chadrin, Louis Savary)
